On the quest to give back to society, Lawrencia Okyere decided to take it upon her shoulders to help to deal with health related issues in the communities within the Ashanti Bekwai Municipality by registering a free health insurance for school going children.
In the year 2021, Saturday 18th September, was a memorable day in the lives of young students but needy who are under the age of 18 years old at the Adjamesu community in the Ashanti Bekwai Municipal.
A 150 of school going children especially the needy ones were scouted in the various schools across the Adjamesu community and were given a free health insurance registration. Every student was given a customized excise book and snacks.
The reason behind this excise is to help solve health problem and it related issues by using the health insurance card for these children when ever they encountered unexpected illness and to make their academic journey a healthy one.
For the first time, I must confess that the anticipation was great and endorsed by the Assembly Member of the Adjamesu electoral area, the Council of Chiefs and the entire community.
